Our tennis academies operate across several key locations in South-West Sydney, including Doohan Tennis Academy, Picton Tennis Academy and Marconi Tennis and Squash Centre. Across these venues, we provide high-quality coaching programs, tennis competitions, tournaments, court hire, pro shop services and community-focused tennis experiences for players of all ages and abilities.

The Opportunity
We are looking for passionate and qualified Casual Tennis Coaches and Pro Shop Admin staff to join our team. As a coach you will be delivering group and individual coaching sessions across a range of programs — from junior development and hot shots through to adult social and competitive coaching.
As a Pro Shop Admin Staff member you will be taking bookings, enquiries and selling sporting equipment. Execellent customer service skills are a must in this role.
Hours are flexible and shift-based, making this an ideal role for coaches and pro shop admin staff who want to fit their work schedule around other commitments, or for those looking to build a solid working schedule from the ground up with a growing academy.
Coaches will deliver
Deliver engaging, well-structured group and individual coaching sessions across all age groups and skill levels.
Implement the academy's coaching framework with a focus on player development, fun, and long-term improvement.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive coaching environment always.
Communicate professionally with players, parents, and the academy management team.
Complete session records and administrative tasks as required.
Contribute to a high-performance team culture where coaches support and learn from each other.
Be available to coach during peak hours (4pm-8pm) Monday – Friday and Saturday mornings (8am to 12pm) this is essential.
Pro Shop/Admin Staff will deliver
Provide friendly, professional customer service to players, parents, members and visitors across our tennis academy locations.
Manage pro shop enquiries, bookings, payments, court hire, lesson enquiries and general customer communication.
Assist with administration tasks, including student records, enrolments, lesson bookings, competition entries and daily operational support.
Help maintain a clean, organised and welcoming pro shop, kiosk and front-of-house environment.
Communicate clearly with coaches, players, parents and the academy management team.
Support the smooth running of tennis lessons, competitions, tournaments, court hire and academy events.
Be reliable during peak operating hours, including after-school periods, evenings and Saturday mornings where required.
What We Offer
Pro Shop Admin Staff $20 – $30 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) — rate based on experience and qualifications.
Coaches $30 – $50 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) — rate based on experience and qualifications.

Essentials:
1) Current Tennis Australia or ATPCA coaching accreditation (minimum Development Level 1) or willing to obtain one
2) Valid NSW Working with Children Check clearance.
3) National Police Check clearance
4) Current First Aid certificate (HLTAID011 or equivalent).
5) Genuine passion for sport and customer service.
6) Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Coach Desirables:
1) Experience coaching junior players across Hot Shots and development programs.
2) Knowledge of high-performance junior development frameworks.

Pro Shop Staff Desirables:
1) Experience in customer service, reception, retail, hospitality, sports administration or a similar front-of-house role.
2) Strong communication skills with players, parents, members, visitors and academy staff.
3) Confidence using computers, booking systems, POS/payment systems, email and basic administration tools.
4) Well organised, reliable and able to manage enquiries, bookings, payments and daily pro shop tasks professionally.
5) A friendly, positive attitude with the ability to create a welcoming environment for families and players.
6) An interest in tennis, sport, coaching programs or community sport would be highly regarded.
